MANILAptwin, Philippines — Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar urged Filipinos to work together to keep the world green, during the inauguration of an electric vehicle charging facility at Vista Mall Bataan.
"In our case, it's already a closed book," Padilla said.
“As we look ahead, we must recognize that the challenges you face are growing more complex. Climate change, rising sea levels, and geopolitical tensions mean that the stakes have never been higher. Patrolling a coastline that spans over 37 million kilometers and watching over our Exclusive Economic Zone is no small feat,” Marcos said.
“Protecting the environment is everyone’s responsibility. We should all work together to keep our world green and work doubly harder to sustain our gains. Every small step matters,” Villar said as she highlighted her advocacy for sustainability and environmental protection.
The facility features a 40-kilowatt fast charger and a Level 2 7.3-kW charger, which are both available for free use. The initiative aims to expand the network of charging stations across the province and supports Bataan’s sustainability program.
Also at the inauguration was Villar’s father, former Senate president Manny Villar, Bataan Gov. Joet Garciaptwin, Reps. Abet Garcia and Rep. Jette Nisay of Pusong Pinoy party-list and Balanga Mayor Francis Garcia.
